Simplify the application of your business rules with rich policies and fine-grained access rights
Mobile User Access
Is your IT infrastructure capable of fully supporting your mobile workforce? Today’s mobile workers require complete and flexible access to their desktop or corporate applications – access beyond
select applications or a subset of resources. The Leostream solution grants your users policy-controlled access to the corporate resources assigned to them (desktops, enterprise applications, or sessions) resulting in access from any device, any location, at any time. The Leostream Connection Broker puts real power and flexibility behind telecommuting, hotelling, or hot-desking initiatives, letting you provide the right resources to your users while maintaining granular control over access rights.
Global User Redirection
The Leostream Connection Broker supports mobile workers by ensuring that users outside of their assigned geographic location can easily access desktop resources. The Leostream Connection Broker automatically and transparently redirects users either to a local desktop or their “home” desktop, depending on the policy settings for DNS. Leostream enables you to provide user access according to your organization’s business rules while providing end-users a familiar desktop experience from any location around the globe.
Offsite User Access
The Leostream Connection Broker makes it easy for contractors and offshore workers to securely and easily gain access to resources without directly accessing your corporate network. As a result, outsourced partners and contractors, such as home-based call center workers or offshore software developers and testers, can maintain hardware- and location-independent access to the tools they need to get their work done. Leostream enables you to enforce role-based policies to provide the right kind of hosted desktops for your outsourced user base. For example, kiosk-mode can create a generic user account (e.g. call center), or multiple, role-based desktops for each member of a software development team.
