The Leostream Agent, installed on each Linux desktop, provides the Connection Broker with insight into the connection status of remote users connecting via the NoMachine NX and HP RGS remote viewer protocols. Leostream Agent 1.1 also includes the Leostream Sun Ray Session scripts for configuring Leostream deployments in a Sun Ray environment.

The Leostream Agent is optional. However, for increased policy-control over your Linux users, Leostream recommends that you install the Leostream Agent onto all virtual and physical machines managed by your Connection Broker.

Remember to fill in the Free Trial form, if you have not yet downloaded the Leostream Connection Broker and received a license key.

Step 1: Download the current version of the Leostream Agent.

Step 2: Download the Installation Guide for instructions on installing the Leostream Agent.

Step 3: Ensure that each Leostream Agent is able to communicate with your Connection Broker. See the Leostream Agent Administrator’s Guide for more information.
