Mike Palin, CEO
Mike PalinPrior to joining Leostream, Mike was CFO of Sitara Networks, a QoS product company. He played an active role in raising four rounds of funding and oversaw key aspects of operations, such as the management of outsourced product manufacture. Prior to Sitara, Mike was the CEO of Homeview. Mike also served as CFO of Indus River Networks, which was sold to Cabletron in 2000. He is a graduate of Brown University.
Jack Hembrough, EVP Sales and Marketing
Jack joined Leostream after leading Application Security, Inc., a New York-based, venture-financed, software security company. From its inception, he served as President and CEO, and later as Chairman of the Board, growing the company to over $20M in annual sales. Prior to AppSecInc, Jack ran sales at Authentica, an application encryption software venture, and SafeNet, Inc., a publicly traded encryption technology company. Jack has held senior sales and management positions at Raptor Systems and Motorola / Codex, and served in the USAF. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and earned an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School.
Eric Hanselman, Director of Professional and Technical Services
Eric Hanselman is the director of professional and technical services for Leostream Corporation. With more than 20 years of virtualization and information technology security experience, Eric is responsible for providing technical expertise in the practical application of virtualization management both to Leostream's customers and product teams. Prior to joining Leostream, Eric worked with technology leaders including IBM, Nortel/Bay Networks, and NEC, where he was involved in the introduction of many new technologies ranging from virtualization management systems to roll-outs for IPv6. Eric holds a patent in facsimile systems design and has written and spoken extensively on virtualization and security technology and their applications. Eric is a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and is a frequent speaker at leading industry events.
Kate de Bethune, Director of Marketing
Kate joined Leostream from Extraprise, a marketing consulting firm, where she was a marketing strategist working with clients that included Mercer Consulting, HP, and Iron Mountain. Prior to Extraprise, she was the International Marketing Manager for UpToDate.  Previous roles include more than ten years working in marketing and product management at OneSource Information Services, Revenio, and Sitara Networks. Kate is a graduate of Boston College and holds a master of music degree in cello performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
Karen Gondoly, Product Manager
Karen joined Leostream from The MathWorks, Inc., a technical software company, where she most recently was a Technical Documentation Writer. Her varied background includes roles as a software developer, GUI designer, usability specialist, and pastry chef, although this last not at The MathWorks. Karen holds bachelor and master of science degrees in aeronautical/astronautical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Bob Ewanouski, Director of Sales
Bob EwanouskiBob joined Leostream from Oco Incorporated, an on-demand business intelligence software company, where he was Vice President of Sales. Prior to Oco, Bob spent 15 highly successful years in the financial services industry, serving in senior sales positions for E.F. Hutton, Legg Mason, Lehman Brothers, and Dean Witter. Bob is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
Bill Brinkley, VP Engineering
Bill BrinkleyBill joined Leostream from OpenAir, where he was responsible for the development of its flagship Professional Services Automation product. Prior to OpenAir, Bill led the system engineering group at CS Information Technologies (Career Search). Bill has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Skidmore College and a master of science degree in computer science from Bentley College (now Bentley University).
Boris Boruchovich, Director of Engineering
Boris joined Leostream from MetraTech Corporation where he was a member of a core team focused on the development of MetraTech's billing solutions for the telecommunications sector. Prior to MetraTech, Boris led engineering teams at OpenAir, Sitara Networks, and OneCore (FBFC). He was a founding engineer at IntelliLink, working on the development of industry-standard data synchronization platform, and has worked on the development teams at Groove Networks, FTP Software, and BBN. Boris holds a degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University.
Amy Tefft, Controller
Amy brings more than ten years of high-tech finance experience to Leostream, previously serving as Director of Finance for ThinkEngine Networks, Inc., acquired by Cognitronics Corporation in 2005. Prior to ThinkEngine, Amy was controller for EPiCON, acquired by Nortel Networks in 2000, and Remanco International, acquired by GEAC Corporation in 1998. Amy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from Bentley College (now Bentley University).
