Systems Engineer
Waltham, MA
Responsibilities:
- Support selling teams in qualifying enterprise opportunities, technology demonstrations and sales calls.
- Work with engineering and product teams to feed back customer and market technical requirements.
- Assist sales with technical requirements of RFI/RFP responses.
- Assist Leostream technical support team with issue identification and customer response.
- Engage with Fortune 1000 customers on VDI/HVD infrastructure design for proof of concept and production deployments.
- Assist and train partners in pre-sales activities including technical presentations and demonstrations.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years experience in desktop virtualization technologies, pre-sales engineering, technical product demonstrations and installation. Strong technical understanding of virtualization technologies, specifically, Microsoft , Citrix and VMware technologies.
- Hold a technical undergraduate degree
- Team approach – ability to work with corporate staff from multiple departments (e.g., inside sales, marketing, support, sales engineer, executives)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, work ethic and follow-through
- Travel as appropriate and necessary to support revenue goals
- Proficient at public speaking, ability to articulate new technology concepts to our target audience
